How to Connect Google Home Mini to Android TV Box
The Google Home Mini can be paired with your Android TV Box to give you hands-free voice control over streaming, apps, and playback. By connecting them, you can use voice commands to search, play, and control your TV. Follow these simple steps to set it up.
Step 1: Prepare Your Devices
- Make sure your Android TV Box is connected to your TV and Wi-Fi.
- Plug in and power on your Google Home Mini.
- Ensure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 2: Install the Google Home App
- On your smartphone, download and install the Google Home app from the Play Store or App Store.
- Open the app and sign in with your Google account.
Step 3: Add the Google Home Mini
- In the Google Home app, tap the “+” button to add a device.
- Select Set up device > New devices.
- Choose your Google Home Mini and follow the on-screen prompts to connect it to Wi-Fi.
Step 4: Link Android TV Box
- In the Google Home app, tap + > Set up device > Works with Google.
- Search for Android TV in the list of available devices.
